Nessebar is a museum with over 20 sites included in the list of world cultural heritage by UNESCO. Among the main attractions in town are the old Nessebar houses of the Bulgarian Revival period (XVIII and XIX c.), the remains of the city wall from the Roman era and the Middle Ages and the windmill at the beginning of the old town. Cultural heritage of the city is preserved in 5 museum. In the old part of the city there are about 40 churches. One of the symbols of Nessebar is the Old Mill, located on the isthmus that connects the old city with the new one. The isthmus is a favorite place for guests and residents of Nessebar. There are walking paths on both sides, near the sea. At the beginning of the new town of Nessebar is situated a real, functioning mill, which is now built into a hotel.
