Pamporovo resort is situated in the Rhodope Mountains at 1650 m altitude at the foot of the highest peak Snejanka (1926 meters). Pamporovo is situated in the region of Smolyan, Chepelare Municipality, at a distance of about 228 km from Sofia, 90 km south of Plovdiv, 15 km north of Smolyan and 10 km south of Chepelare.

Pamporovo is one of the sunniest mountain resorts in Bulgaria - sunny days here are more than 240. The climate is mild with strong Mediterranean influence. The average annual temperature is 8,5 ° C, and the snow cover is 140-150 cm.
