LOZENETS

Lozenets is a resort type village on the Black sea coast in the Southeastern part of Bulgaria in Burgas region.

Lozenets is located at the foot of the Strandja Mountain between the towns of Tsarevo and Kiten, 70 km from Bourgas, 440 km from Sofia and 325 km from Plovdiv.

The region combines mountain and sea climate. There are also forests and rivers. Favorable climate, beautiful scenery and unique atmosphere make Lozenets a wonderful place to live and vacation.

Average summer temperatures range between 22-25°C for June and September and between 26-31°C in July and August.

The cozy village is dotted with greenery and flowers. Two and three storey houses and villas dominate, as some of them are turned into small family hotels.

In the past, Lozenets was fishing village and today it provides fresh fish and sea delicacies for local restaurants.

By 1931 Lozenets was populated locality Embelets (also Emberler or Ambelitz).

Lozenets is known for its beautiful beaches with fine sand. The sea water is the cleanest on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast with the availability of useful micronutrients such as calcium, magnesium, iodine, bromine and others.

Besides its beaches Lozenets is known for its nightlife and famous Bulgarian personalities and celebrities that prefer Lozenets for their holiday. Parties at restaurants and clubs continues all summer long.

Lozenets features many cultural and natural attractions. Nearby is the historical site Begliktash.
